Hot Fix to Pccguide.exe over 80% to 100% ues CPU.

Este é um " jeitinho " que achei para eliminar o problema de compatibilidade entre o FireFox com o PC-Cillin.
This is the way I have found to eliminate the problem of compatibily of FireFox with Pc-Cillin. Because after i installed the firefox my antivirus[pccgruide.exe , real-time scan] starts to uses 80 to 100% of my CPU. This is the solution discover at: http://computercops.biz/postx76921-0-15.html
" Hi
I downloaded a tool called Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com. While exploring pccguide.exe I noticed that it was referring to a file called registry.dat which (in my case) is stored under C:\DocumentsAndSetting\UserName\Application Data\Mozilla\. After removing this directory (perhaps removing only the file will work) everything went back to normal.

I upgraded Pc-Cillin 2003 to Internet Security 2004 so I don't know if this will solve dillberry's problem. At least it worked for me.

Note: I'm not running any other programs from Mozilla so I deleted this file without hesitation. I have no idea if deleting this file will affect other Mozilla programs.

"PROBLEM SOLVED!!
Sindri you are a legend! Exactly as you suggest, despite uninstalling firefox, a folder and registry file for Moxilla existed in that location.

I have deleted it and the problem is fixed. It was recommended that I use firefox browser, however I can live without it i'm sure.

Thank-you everyone for your assistance. I have learnt a lot about malware and virus protection in the process and my system is a lot cleaner and secure!
" By Dillberry.

So go and downloaded a tool called Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com. check if yours owned eyes and remove FireFox and this file[registry.dat] ... after that the problem is resolve.

Desistale o FireFox, remova o arquivo chamado registry.dat e tudo voltará ao normal....
