Ipod Crashes [Looping Reboots]

If yours Ipod starts to do a constant reset, reboot, crash, reset cycle.
So what you want to do is attempt to set the iPod into disk mode.
But how you can reach the disk mode?
Well, I lost a entire day , try to find something on the Internet... And... I Found...

The Site I found, tells about how you get in the DIAGNOSTIC MODE, what is that?? Is one mode you can test all functions and hardwares from your iPod ...

só I RESET MY iPOD 3G [40GB] pressing : "MENU" and "PLAY" When he reset I press and "REW", "FFW" and "Select" at the same time, when my screen get blank, I release and heard a sound... than I connect my iPod to my computer, and look at iPod Diagnostic Mode and Try the test called: FW TEST [Firewire Test] after that he makes the test and entrer automatic in disk mode....
